Needs help for brain surgery

Five-year-old Mohamed Asfaq of Thelambugahawatte, Akurana is suffering from an abnormal brain formation outside his skull. Neuro surgeon Prof. K. Sridhar of Malar Hospitals, Adyar, Chennai, India has recommended surgery in multiple stages to rectify the deformity and the cost is around Rs. 1,300,000.

Baby Eresha needs corrective surgery

Baby Eresha Udayangani (6), of 2/44/D, Kirula Project, Kirulapone, Colombo 6, is suffering from 'Hole in the heart' condition and is urgently in need of surgery.

Dr. P. A. Gunaratne, Consultant Surgeon of Sri Jayawardenapura recommends corrective surgery which will cost around Rs. two lakhs forty thousand (Rs. 240,000).Her father is an invalid, mother being unemployed, and with no bread-winner, they find it impossible to raise this amount for the operation.

They appeal to the public for help and their contributions many be sent to the People's Bank, Kirulapone branch A/C. No. 319-2-001-3-2031150, in favour of Eresha Udayangani.
