Otters win 79-61

BASKETBALL: Otters scored a close 79-61 win over Wennappuwa BC after leading 42-25 at half time in their Colombo Super League 'A' Division Men's match of the Colombo District Basketball Association (CDBA) at the Depot Police courts.

Meanwhile in the women's 'B' Division, Josephians beat University of Kelaniya 54-49 after being led 27-22 at half time.

Earlier, Colombo BC beat Air Force 85-66 after leading 35-31 at 'lemons' in the Men's 'A' Division, while in the Men's 'C' Division, Colombo International School (CIS) beat Annites 74-52 after leading 24-17 at the short whistle. (L.G.)
