CRICKET: Paceman Chanka Wijewardena bowled effectively to bag a match
haul of 11 for 41 to help St. Benedict's to register a comfortable 8
wickets win over St. Anne's in their school cricket match played at
Kotahena yesterday.
Wijewardena who claimed 7 for 18 on Friday to dismiss the visitors
for 119 continued the same form to capture 4 for 23. Annaites failed
once again to a low 80 in their second essay.
