Triad makes history at Chillies 2007
Triad Advertising came in at the lead for the second consecutive time
at the recently concluded Chillie Awards.
Having secured two of the only three golds awarded, Triad made
history at the Chillies, held recently at the SLECC.
Triad won one gold award in the print category for Volvo and another
in the ambient category for the Ministry of Defence.
The latter entry was highly recommended by the jury for Cannes.
Overall - Triad secured 13 awards for the varied creations for many of
its clients including Swedish Trading Audio Visual, Paracetol, Hutch,
People's Bank, Alumex and Homerun Pas.
The Chillies 2007 was notably more demanding than the inaugural
awards held last year. The international judging panel was rigorous and
exacting, selecting only works of global standards. This was in line
with the Chillies vision of raising the bar to international levels.
Triad Advertising has come far in just 15 years of existence to make
its distinct mark in the ad industry as the 'local' agency worth
reckoning with. Founded by Dilith Jayaweera and Varuni Amunugama
Fernando, the agency is a strong advocate of the theme 'Sri Lanka Can'.
Triad takes a signature approach to branding by utilising local
values and insights. Varuni believes the strong team spirit at Triad
played a large role in the creation of award winning ads. |
