Pakistan pulls out

NETBALL: Pakistan national netball team has pulled out at the last moment from the Four-Nation Netball Championships to be hosted by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka from June 15 to 17 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

Ms. Riophila Ramlan, the Secretary Netball Federation of Sri Lanka said that due to unavailable reasons, Pakistan Netball Federation has pulled out of the tourney. The Netball Federation of Sri Lanka has decided to include the National Youth Development Pool team to play in the tournament along with India, Maldives and the Sri Lanka senior team. The matches will be worked off on a league basis and the best two teams will clash in the final.

Senior National and Youth Development Pool players are hard at training.
