Courses in International Relations at BCIS
The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) is now
accepting applications for the Certificate, Diploma and Postgraduate
Diploma Courses in International Relations, which will commence on
September 15, 2007.
These programmes are designed to develop an understanding of the
contemporary world and are targeted at those who are interested in
international affairs in general as well as those who seek to supplement
the general education obtained through the school system. The courses
will also provide personnel in different academic and professional
fields requiring wider awareness of the current international situation
with background knowledge of areas of particular interest.
Well qualified lecturers will deliver hands-on instructions thus
creating an environment conducive for interactive learning.
Class sizes are limited to a manageable number so as to ensure
individual attention and sufficient feedback on students' efforts. All
lessons are conducted in comfortable, spacious air-conditioned lecture
rooms of the newly-constructed BCIS building situated within the BMICH.
The teaching is aided by state-of-the-art multimedia, internet and
library facilities. Moreover, the BCIS being a non-profit,
service-oriented institution offers these courses at highly subsidised
rates.
All course related information is available at the BCIS Website (www.bcis.edu.lk)
and applications can be downloaded from the website free. The
applications close on August 25, 2007.
