Retired Big Lady was annoyed after newspapers reported that she bought chocolates and black label whisky on credit. She accused a 'deputy' leaking the story to the media. To her credit, it must be said that the Big Lady made arrangements to pay it in dollars within hours.

Sun Karu-Leader attempted to take the wicket of Captain Cool, who apparently lost his cool in giving up the Kotte organiser's post. But Captain Cool has said a firm no to Karu-Leader and added that he would never support a party that does not put the country before self.
