Help Lanka to combat terrorism

Lankan group tells Japanese Govt

A group of Sri Lankans here has appealed to the Japanese Government to play an active role in Sri Lanka's struggle against terrorism. The 'Lankans Against Terrorism' (LAT), a group of Sri Lankan expatriates, in Japan, has called upon the Government of Japan to play a greater role in Sri Lanka's battle against terrorism and achieve a lasting peace.

Presidential export award winners

President Mahinda Rajapaksa presented awards at the 14th Presidential export awards 2005 ceremony on Thursday at the Presidential Secretariat. Here CEO of Brandix Apparels Ashroff Omar who won the award for the highest net foreign exchange earner, Chairman Akbar Brothers Abbas Akbarally and Managing Director, Selyn Exporters Sandra Wanduragala with their awards along with the other winners.
