Beauty Queens meet and greet

In the capacity
packed Crystal Ballroom of the Historic Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, two
young Sri Lankans grabbed the Spotlight when Ruwani Horanage was crowned
Miss Sri Lanka USA 2006/07 and teenager Ronika Kalpage wore the crown of
Miss Teen Sri Lanka - USA.
Roma de Zoysa the energetic Co-producer of the pageant in Los Angeles
along with Dr. Walter Jayasinghe and his wife Ayesha arranged a trip to
Sri Lanka for the winners to enable them to be felicitated by the Beauty
Queens of Sri Lanka.
The evening at the Cinnamon Grand was truly a grand moment for both
the young Beauty Queens and a galaxy of past and present Queens who
turned up for the event

organised the glittering evening which turned out to be a great success
what with the media interviewing them and the cameramen capturing
moments of the Beauty Queens' for memories.

British
Association of Beauty Therapy and cosmetology is the chief association
of beauty culturists from all over the world, was established in England
in 1977. Beautyculturists trained in developed countries and functioning
standard high quality professional services are awarded the membership
of that association.

The objective of that association is to pass the technology and state
of art material invented through researches to the members in order to
educate the members for a high standard service.
In Sri Lanka Chamliya Niroshini Ramanayake has been awarded the said
membership. She is the daughter of Padmini Ramanayaka, who is a veteran
beautician in this country. In recognition of her colours at the Harrow
on the Hill Beauty Culture University during the time she was studying
beauty culture there she was awarded this honorary membership.
It is a privilege for her to have permission to use the international
logo of that university on the certificates and documents issued by her
and as an endorsement of her business.
