Keen competition should prevail at Senior and Junior Schools
swim meet
There are 1,800 swimmers from 140 schools who
will swim at the Senior and Junior Schools Swimming Championships
conducted by the Sri Lanka schools Aquatic Sports Association from
September 20 to 23 at the Sugathadasa Stadium pool commencing from
8.30 a.m. The meet is sponsored by Milo.

Strong possibility of S. Korea, Hong Kong playing in Colombo at
Singer Asiad
There is a strong possibility of both South
Korea and Hong Kong agreeing to complete at the Singer Asian Rugby
Championships to be staged in Colombo from November 3 to 10,
although the participation of Japan, Singapore and Arabian Gulf is
very doubtful.
