A Sensational and Flamboyant 21 Years

Kicking off the year of fun, the Hilton Colombo will host a sensational and flamboyant 21 hour Latino carnival. Starting from the 21st of September at 6 p.m. the themed event will conclude on the 22nd at 3 p.m.

This event will be held at the Hilton poolside, and will feature some of the hottest fashions on a sea-sand catwalk parade, a guest DJ, food and beverage stalls, aqua aerobics, a sumptuous brunch, a family fashion show and pulsating samba beats.

Speaking on the many events set to occur, the General Manager of the Hilton Colombo, William Costley has said they wanted to ensure that the hotel entered its 21st year in a truly sensational and stylish manner. He added, "the coming year is going to be completely impressive, our planned agenda of events and promotions are unique and exciting."

Another initiative for this year by the Hilton Colombo is the launch of their CSR programmes. Starting from this September the hotel will be holding its CSR programme where all proceeds from fundraising activities and contributions will be donated to the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind.

The exclusive hotel will also award 20 scholarships to the Sri Lanka Institute of Hotel Management. This is in keeping with the Hilton's vision of continually supporting and enhancing the opportunities available to the youth of the country.

As the hotel giant steps into its 21st year, it also recognized the immense amounts of support and loyalty displayed by the pioneers of the Hilton Colombo. The 74 members of the Hilton family have already amassed a total contribution of 1480 years altogether.

These individuals have continuously displayed a true dedication to the high standards embodied by this hotel, and have ensured that it, till today, remains amongst the most prestigious hotels in the country.
