The first in the Sri Lankan mobile telephone industry Tigo took the
service offering to the next level with the opening of the Tigo Zone at
R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 4.
CEO Tigo Dumindra Ratnayaka said that this is in keeping with Tigo's
strategy of constant innovation while delivering an experience which
will only serve to enhance the lifestyle of their customers.
He said that the Tigo Zone consists of three areas namely the Lounge
and the sky cafe for busy executives to unwind and relax or to host
informal business conversations, The Hangout is an area for the young
and for those young at heart and the training centre which caters to
serious minded Tigo customers.
Ratnayaka said that they plan to conduct various programs on resume
writing and other business skills that are useful for young executives.
He said the investment for the Tigo Zone is substantial and it is in
keeping with their brand promise. Ratnayake said that they are focusing
on the mass market but don't believe in price wars and that is the
reason they started the per second billing. |
