TENNIS: Veteran Rohan de Silva, himself an experienced Davis Cup campaigner, has been appointed once again to be Sri Lanka's non-playing captain for their forthcoming Davis Cup (Asia/Oceania Zone III) tournament to be staged in Tehran, Iran in April.

Chief Executive officer (CEO), of the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA). Colonel (rtd) Chrys de Silva, said that De Silva was confirmed in his appointment by the General Committee of the SLTA last Thursday night.

Apart from the Davis Cup and Federation Cup to be staged in Bangkok, Thailand later this month (January), the SLTA, also decided to compete in the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Federation Cup tournaments too.
