Neo Plasma Plus LG ACs provide protection from Avian flu

Avian Influenza or 'bird flu', as it is commonly known as is a contageous disease caused by viruses that normally infect only birds and less commonly pigs.

Avian Influenza viruses are highly species-specific, but have on rare occasions, crossed the species barrier to infect humans, often fatally.

This fast spreading disease has plagued our neighbouring Asian countries for some time and the threat of the disease spreading to Sri Lanka has greatly disturbed our health authorities. LG with innovative solutions, has introduced the NEO Plasma System in their air-conditioners which provides 99.9% protection against Avian Influenza.

A special K-AVF filter with Nano Silver in Nano Bio Fusion Particle allows their nano-size bio enzymes to directly penetrate through cell walls of bacteria to decompose its cell nuclei and kill the virus, while conventional methods merely inactivate bacteria or only destroy external cell walls.
