Successful air raids in Nayaru and Pudukuduiruppu

Airforce fighter jets bombed an LTTE Sea Tiger base and a coordinating centre while the ground forces advanced their territory by a square kilometre yesterday.

SLAF said the first air raid struck a LTTE Sea Tiger base seven kilometres north of Nayaru lagoon yesterday around 11.15 a.m. The second SLAF raid targeted the Sea Tiger Coordinating Centre in Pudukuduiruppu West, Mullaitivu district last afternoon. The SLAF said both the targets were accurate.
