President to address Boao Forum

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to leave for China on April 9 with high-powered delegation to attend the Boao Forum for Asia which will be held in Boao city in Hainan Province, China.

"A victorious journey for a green Asia 'will be the theme of the Boao Forum.

A lecture will be delivered by President Rajapaksa at the conference which will be attended by leaders of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Chilian President Michelle Bachelet, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karin Masimov, Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhabayar, Pakistan President Pervez Musharaf, Qatar Prime Minister Hamad Bin Jassen bin Jabor Alithani, Sweden Prime Minister Fedrik Reinfeldf, Tansaman President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and Tongo head of the government, Taufaahou Tupouiv are among them.
