British HC to speak on climate change

British High Commissioner Dr. Peter Hayes will speak on 'climate change at the 'Climate Positive Action Project' forum on April 9, at the Trans Asia Hotel from 1-3 p.m.

Representatives from the Environmental Ministry including the Minister and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will also participate.

'Climate Positive Action' is a project implemented in partnership with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCSL). The project will be implemented in nine districts in collaboration with the business community, NGOs and people threatened by climate change in Sri Lanka. (ND)
