Hill Club tennis tourney April 10 to 14

TENNIS: The Hill Club annual ranking tennis tournament, one of the premier events at the Nuwara Eliya season, will be held from April 10 to 14. This is a popular event with enthusiasts from all over the country scheduled to participate. The tournament this year has been up-graded to Grade 'B'.

The tournament will be worked off in three categories - junior, open and veterans. The Hill Club has four play courts and is years gone by it was the venue for the Tennis Nationals.

Entries close on April 7 at 5 p.m. at the SLTA and on April 9th at 5 p.m. at the Hill Club.The tournament has been organised by the Hill Climb in association with ABC Lubricants, the Sri Lanka Tennis Association and sponsored jointly by Singer Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and HNB Assurance.
