Gateway International win under 15 netball title too

NETBALL: Gateway College continued their success in netball by winning the under 15 Inter-International School's Netball Tournament held on March 29 at D. S. Senanayake College Courts.

The tournament was organised by Colombo International School, had many leading International Schools' participating. Recently, Gateway won the netball tournament as well.

In the under 15 tourney, Gateway beat OKI International School by 10 goals to 7, beat Lyceum International School - Wattala by 15 goals to 2 and beat Belvoir College International in the third match by 10 goals to 2.

In the quarter-finals, Asian International School lost to Gateway 1-15. In the semi-finals, Gateway beat Stafford International by 12 goals to 2 and in the final, Gateway beat Colombo International School by 19 goals to 15.

Vijini Dahanayake was adjudged Netball Queen, while Mandakini Amarasekera was picked as the Best Shooter.
