Thurstan-Isipathana Twenty-20 match today

CRICKET: The inaugural Twenty-20 cricket match between Thurstan and Isipathana for the Priya Paranavithana Trophy will be staged today (Sunday) at the SSC grounds, Maitland Place, while the Old Boys game for the Bhathiya Seebert Trophy will take place before the main game at the same venue.

Thurstan had one of their most successful seasons with seven outright wins and the Paravavithana Trophy is a tribute to a person who has dedicated his lifetime to his alma mater. L.G.
