Trinity and Mahamaya champs

ATHLETICS: Trinity College won the boys championships and Mahanama College won the girls championships at the Kandy Schools Circuit Athletic Meet held at the Bogambara Stadium from April 28 May 2.

In the boys championships, Trinity came on the top with 280 points, with Dharmaraja second 206 points, Vidyartha third 202 points, St. Anthony's Katugastota fourth 196 points, Ranabima Royal fifth 115 points and Kingswood sixth 68 points.

Among the girls, Mahamaya came on top with 329 points with Pushpadana coming second with 160 points, St. Anthony's Balika third 141 points, Good Shepherd Convent fourth 125 points, Girls High School fifth 111 points and Vihard Nana Devi Balika Vidyalaya sixth with 88 points.
