Vidura wins award for outstanding performance

CRICKET: Vidura College, Colombo junior cricket team went on a short tour of Chennai (Madras) and participated in a cricket tournament with four other teams, Vidura College were placed third in the tourney.

St. Patrick's Cricket Academy won the tournament, with Padma Danish Cricket Academy second, St. Mary's Cricket Academy fourth and Philbert Cricket Academy fifth.

Vidura College won two matches and lost two. Vidura College beat St. Mary's Cricket Academy and Padma Danish Cricket Academy. The two matches that Vidura College lost were the ones against St. Patrick's Cricket Academy and against Philbert Cricket Academy.

Vidura College, however, was awarded the trophy for the most outstanding performance in the tourney according to official sources.
