Under 14 rugby tournament

RUGBY: Kandy District Sports Development Foundation has organised an under 14 rugby football tournament under the 'Gamata Kreedawa' concept today (May 25) at Nittawela grounds starting at 9 a.m.

There are around eight schools that will participate. Among them will be Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Hasala; Greenwood College, Ambatenna; Zahira College, Katugastota; Sri Rahula, Katugastota; Mahaweli Vidyalaya.

The champions and runners-up will be awarded challenge shields and trophies presented by Governor of Central Province Tikiri Kobbekaduwa.

Maurice Perera is in charge of the tournament.
