Karuppiah Arumugam - (Trinity College Rugger Captain 1949). Beloved mother of
Kumaran, Gowri and Sugi, passed away on June 1st and was cremated on the next

Beloved wife of late Dr. D.D. De Saram, University of Peradeniya, mother of
Lekha, Maulie and Dr. Darshi, mother-in-law of Dr. Francis Suraweera and Kushmi,
sister of late Remus De Silva, expired on 24.06.2008., Cremation took place the

Ratnapura), loving mother of Iresha Attygala (Attorney-at-Law) Janashakthi
Insurance Co. Limited, and Asitha Attygala (International Tennis Referee),
mother-in-law of Rukman Nanayakkara and Dammi Attygala (Teacher of Ananda
College), expired. Cremation at Borella Cemetery on 29th, 3 p.m. 197/4, 1st
Lane, Kalapaluwawa Rd, Rajagiriya.
GANESIAH - MANONMANI Loving wife of late Vellupillai Ganesiah, beloved
mother of Nirmala (USA), mother-in-law of Prof. M. Maheswaran, doting
grandmother of Rajiv and Ahila, sister of Ratneswary (UK), Maheswari (UK),
Nagarajah (Australia), and Balasubramaniam (UK) passed away peacefully. Cortege
leaves at 10.30 a.m. from 25, Nelson Place, Wellawatte, Colombo 6 on
Sunday 29th for cremation at the General Cemetery, Kanatte (Hindu Section).
PERERA - GNATHI RATNA - Beloved wife of late M.J. Perera (C.C.S), mother
of Deepamali, Shantha, Ravi, Aruna and Kamal, mother-in-law of Ananda, Lochana
