Life time achievement award to Gamini Dissanayake
Gamini Dissanayake who was a President of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board
and who was instrumental in obtaining Test status for Sri Lanka in 1981
was given a life time achievement award by the Asian Cricket Council at
the recently concluded Asian Cup Tournament in Karachchi.
He was a pioneer who formulated the concept of the Asian Cricket
Council. |
