ABS wins 10 CIM prizes

The Academy of Business Studies (ABS) has carved out its market position as the Most Award Winning Business Academy with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) conferring 10 Sri Lankan best performance awards to ten top executives from the corporate world based on their performance at the recently concluded Chartered Institute of marketing Examination.

The record performance of collecting 10 out of 23 Sri Lankan prizes on offer is a cap up to the 82 Sri Lankan prizes that the business academy had secured whilst also producing two world prizes.

President/CEO of ABS, K. Wasantha S. Fernando said, "This is a promise that we have been delivering year on year and whilst I congratulate the award winners I must pay tribute to the award winning faculty that has guided them over the years" Most of the faculty are industry professionals from the corporate world and they share their knowledge during weekends as their contribution to the industry and country and we are proud to associate ABS with these professionals who have been serving on the panel of lecturers at ABS for the past 10 years.

One of the prize winners Auguesta Jacquiline Dias said "The panel of lecturers at ABS is undoubtedly the best in Sri Lanka and their commitment, passion has been the key pivot of my success. The culture at ABS is unique. You must experience it to feel the difference.

Mohan Chandana Gamage who has won the Marketing In Practice and Marketing Environment Prizes said "I work at HNB and I am thankful to the outstanding lecturers who guided me not only by sharing the theories in marketing but actual practice that made the difference for me to win this competitive award.

Indika Fernando who secured the prize from the Kandy branch said, "I am proud to have been taught by not only a lecturer but also a model from the world of fashion Inthikab Zufer. The lecturers at ABS are allrounders and its fun studying at ABS".
