Sampath Bank opens 111th branch in Akkaraipattu

The 111th branch of Sampath Bank was opened in Akkaraipattu recently. The new branch boasts of a novel facility - an Exclusive banking Unit for women where the banking services are provided entirely by female staff.

This unit will cater to the financial and banking needs of the women in the area. Muslim women, especially in the area will be able to carry out their banking activities without any undue inconvenience.

Chairman of Sampath Bank Edgar Gunatunge, the Chief Guest expressed his pleasure in having opened the new branch in a locality where they could serve a developing community where agriculture, fishery and small enterprises support the economy.
