Finlays in joint venture with Linex

Finlays Colombo PLC entered into a joint venture with Linehaul Express (Linex), the Hong Kong based Express Logistics company.

LINEX, part of the Lenton group are the exclusive General Sales Agents for Wholesale Courier operations of Cathay Pacific Cargo and Dragonair Cargo, globally.

With 20 years of relationship with Cathay Pacific and having offices in over 20 countries, Linex is the largest wholesale Airport-to-Airport express service providers in the world.

Chairman of Finlays Kumar Jayasuriya said, "We are delighted to partner the Lenton Group of Hong Kong in entering the courier business in Sri Lanka. With Finlays involvement as the exclusive General Sales Agent for Cathay Pacific Airways in Sri Lanka for passenger and cargo, the extension to the wholesale courier business is logical, if not strategic.
