Kandy Perahera concludes on Aug 17

Ten veterinary surgeons headed by Dr. Asoka Dangalle will be on hand
to attend to elephants during the Esala Perahera.
All elephants are examined daily at 4 p.m. to observe any signs of
unusual behaviour. The perahera will end on August 17 with the water
cutting ceremony. |
