Thirty prisoners to be released

Thirty prisoners from Kalutara, Matugama, Horana, Panadura, Kesbewa and Hettipola Prisons will be released on humanitarian grounds by Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara on October 8 at 3.30 p.m. at the Kalutara Bodhi premises.

The prisoners to be released are minor offenders.

Sunny Kumarasinghe of Pahansith Foundation and Ajith de Zoysa of Kalutara Bodhi Society will also grace the event.
