New court houses in Ampara

A Provincial High Court and a Provincial Civil Court of Appeal in the Ampara coastal areas will be opened by the Chief Justice, Sarath N. Silva on October 5.

The Member of Parliament N. Puthirasigamani, Secretary to the Minister of Justice S. Gamlath and the Secretary to the Judicial Service Commission Chandra Jayatilleka will also participate at the opening ceremony. Messrs Chandramani Viswalingam and M.S.M. Jameel have been appointed Judges of the courts.

The Chief Justice will also open a quazi courts on this day.
