Water Board puts out warning signals

The Water Supply and Drainage Board urged the Public to consume water sparingly, as there is severe shortage due to drought prevailing in the country.

The Board has been receiving several complaints of poor water supply in and around elevated areas.

The Board attributes this situation to people using drinking water for other purposes like watering plants and for washing vehicles.
