Temple talks

Tea-run Potato, Wedding Sam and a key businessman conspired at a leading Temple to woo the Supreme man to politics. Knowing the ulterior motives of the Tea-run and the bankrupt Mapila group, the much respected chief had passed judgment which did not find favour. In declining the offer, the Supreme man had said that he could not go against his old friend who heads the executive.

Humble pie

Having said that the troops would face major setbacks when the monsoon rains approach, Ra-Blue cut a sorry figure at a key Elephant Party meeting. Patriotic Green Em Pees have called upon Ra-Blue to refrain from looking for cheap political mileage, undermining the great sacrifices made by the Security Forces. The leader had to eat humble pie eventually.

World record!

Soome, the One-sa who heads the Bell Party, glass in hand, had disclosed their hidden agenda at the Korean reception last week. "We have already finalised a deal with the Greens to contest future elections under one front," he said. Interesting isn't it - the world's first socialist-capitalist alliance!

Sickening PC roles

One Shot and Gun Shot have got sick of their new roles as Opp Leaders of their Provincial Councils. Though they were top of the pops dreaming that they could win the polls, the duo recently met their leader and pleaded with him to release them until the next general election. Gun Shot wants to pack his suitcase and go Down Under.

Deal from My-lick

Ex-Chairman My-Lick called the rebel Em Pees of the Elephant Party and pleaded with them to stop the plot against the leader. He assured them top Cabinet portfolios in a future Green administration. But the rebels have flatly rejected the offer saying that their struggle is not for personal glory but to get rid of the leader and take their party towards victory.

Sinking ship

With the Bud-Jet around the corner, a few more political somersaults are on the cards. While Ra-Blue is making a desperate attempt to retain his remaining Em Pees, the governing types too have launched a special operation to win dejected opposition Em Pees. But none of the governing Em Pees would attempt to get into Ra-Blue's sinking ship.
