CRICKET: Sri Rahula College, Katugastota scored a close first
innings win over St. Thomas' College, Matale in their schools under 19
cricket tournament match played at the St. Thomas' College grounds in
Matale on Friday. Though on the losing side, R. Kellepotha of St.
Thomas' College, Matale stole the honours scoring 61 (8 fours) in the
first innings and 76 (10 fours) in the second.
Spinner Sunimal Dissanayake excelled for Sri Rahula College capturing
a match of 7 for 57 including 3 for 5 in Thomian first innings.
St. Thomas College: 190 all out in 42.4 overs (T. Gunaratne 38, R.
Kellepotha 61, N. Ekanayake 22, L. Madusanka 16, R. Ranaweera 17,
