Kohler investments to focus on customer behaviour
Kohler will focus on customer behaviour when investing during its
first few years of operations in Sri Lanka, said Managing Director,
Kohler Co., Sharad Mathur.
He was addressing a ceremony to inaugurate the company's entry into
Sri Lanka's interior design market on Tuesday.
Mathur said Kohler decided to foray into the Sri Lankan market due to
the growth in the sanitaryware market.
The booming real estate industry and the growing upscale consumer
market in the country are opportunities for the company to compete in
the industry. Referring to competition, he said Kohler products and
services are based on quality, design and innovation. The advertising of
the wide range of products and the attraction to the showroom designs
has placed the company ahead of others in the industry.
Director, Abans Ltd., Tito Pestonjee said that Abans is proud to be
associated with a global leader in sanitaryware. Kohler's range of
products will be sought after for the hospitality, healthcare and other
major industries.
Sri Lanka Representative, R. D. Zoyza said it has been Kohler's
tradition to be innovative and offer quality products at competitive
prices. Kohler will market its products from France and the US in Sri
Lanka.
