Trinity and Musaeus swimming champs
Trinity College with 324 points retained the
men’s overall swimming title and Musaeus College with 161 points won
the women’s overall title at the three day Senior and Junior
National Aquatic Championship held at the Sugathadasa Stadium pool
yesterday. Trinity College carried away the Dudley Senanayake
Memorial challenge trophy, Musaeus College was awarded the SLASU
Trophy.

Chinese Taipei in 35-23 win over Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s quest to join the top-five of Asian
rugby came apart at the seams as hosts Chinese Taipei cruised to a
comfortable 35-23 win in their HSBC Asian Five Nations - Division
One Tournament match in Taipei last evening.
