Mahamaya girls win two titles

NETBALL: Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy won two titles at the recently concluded netball tournament held at the Police Grounds conducted by Kandy District Sports Development Foundation.

Hillwood College, Girls High School and St. Anthony's Girls College won a title each.

The following are the results of each age group:

Under 12: Champions - Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy, runners-up - Pushpadana Girls College, Kandy.

Under 13: Champions - Mahamaya College, Kandy, runners-up - Pushpadana, Girls College, Kandy.

Under 14: Champions - Hillwood College, Kandy, runners-up - Pushpadana Girls College, Kandy.

Under 15: Champions - Girls High School, Kandy, runners-up - Uddispaththuwa Maha Vidyalaya.

Schools Open: Champions - St. Anthony's Girls College, Katugastota, runners-up - Pushpadana Girls College, Kandy.

Club Tournament: Champions - Police Sports Club, Kandy, runners-up - Youth Services Sports Club, Kandy.
