very time when I close my eyes, that thrilling incident creates fascinating dreams in my sleep.

It happened about last February when you came to our piano class in Kandy as a newcomer. To be honest, you weren't a newcomer but an angel who came to illuminate our whole class as a heaven. Still I do remember how you smiled with all the students in the class when you entered in. Oh! it's sooo romantic!!

But I don't know the actual reason for your late coming everyday. But it gave me a real chance to see your beautiful innocent face.

However, the most unforgettable day in my life was the 23rd of February. That day I had to play the piano and our master asked any one to come and sing. At once, he pointed out to you and asked you to sing. I think it was, because you were his brightest student. That time I felt as if I were over the moon. How should I explain that great chance....Among all the sweet cheers I played the song and your golden voice awoke. Everybody kept in a deep silence and I saw how our master was looking at you.

That day you were wearing a long white skirt and a pink blouse. You were wearing your long curly hair on one plait as you usually did.

Actually, she was simply out of this world! The hill-country princess I've ever seen.

But please tell me KANE why you stopped attending classes without saying us even good bye??

All we are waiting for you....

The lucky song was,

I'll kiss all those tears away ...

David and Audrey Hazzard have been linked only by letters now for more than a year and a half. Audrey tries to keep a brave face at home and her correspondence cheerful, but David recogniser teardrops on a page when he sees them.

Dear Sweetheart,

Your letter of Jan 1st came to me yesterday and it seems to me as if it requires a very special answer. Your mood has probably changed long since but it may be that way again so I want this letter to serve as a reminder of many things.

While you were writing your letter you said you put our record on and that you liked it a lot. And in that sentence there are three very suspicious looking blots.

Audrey darling - I love you - I want to be with you always and particularly when you are feeling low. My shoulder should always be close enough for you to pillow your head on no matter how you are feeling - happy or sad. And with luck it will be again soon.

Tonight and all this week I hear a sound that brings you very near - the rolling crash of breakers on the beach and I think of the many nights when we were listening together, if only subconsciously, to the same music. As I drop off to sleep I can almost feel you alongside of me and feel your head on my shoulder. We used to worry and fret occasionally over "things" that we wanted, lack of money, and grumble about weather or people, a hundred and one things when all the time we had the only thing in life that really mattered.

Just to have you close again, within the circle of my arms, will be a wealth and happiness beyond anyone's desire. And looking back into memory, I know that we were very fortunate people because we did realize, most of the time, that we had the most precious gift that life has to offer. I can't remember a night when in spite of any trivial worry or complaint that the day had held for us we went to sleep without our "little minute" when we both relaxed and allowed love to smooth away all cares. Then a goodnight kiss and untroubled sleep.

Of all the beautiful and lovely memories that I have of our life together none compares with that one. It was a constantly recurring pleasure that has made our marriage a long honeymoon. And one that is only interrupted, not broken, by this war.

Once I am home again we'll carry on from where we were interrupted but with an even greater appreciation of what we have. I'll kiss all those tears away and from that time on there'll be no cause for any more.

With all my love to you!
"Yours" David,
P.S. I love you.
This letter is entirely yours! That's the reason for the unusual ending.

This week's Love Talk is with  Thilini  Jayasingha ......the firstever woman shuttler to represent Sri Lanka at Olympics is year

What do you think causes love at first sight? Is it love or attraction?

Attraction comes first.

Do you think that popular people are good lovers?

Yes, why not? It depends on that popular person's attitude.

Should a love affair always break up with a pain and hatred? Can't it be ended up with peace and harmony?

If there is a good understanding between each other, love affair can be ended up with peace and harmony.

What will you do when you meet your ex when you are with your present lover?

I don't have ex-boy friends so far. I may have ex boy friends in future and I would react according to the situation.

Have you ever been in a dilemma of choosing one partner over the other when you liked both?

I can't say no.

Do you look into the `wealth' factor when you look for a partner?

No. I'm of the view that I should be able to look after my partner. So I only think about a partner who loves me so much.

If someone likes another ....is it OK to keep that idea in mind without letting that person know it?

It should be in mind. Sometimes you might get embarrassed if that person doesn't like you.

If you fall in love with a person who is already in a relationship, what would you do?

I believe that if the love is very strong and genuine, you can win that parson's heart despite he/she is already in a relationship.

Power of Love......

A power of love is a magical thing,
It is s pleasure and preference
The power of love is intense and full of emotion,
Love is to be cherished and adored

If one person loves another,
That is a pure desire,
Love is a feeling
Which comes from the bottom of our hearts

Love is always keeping remembrances,
If love breaks, the heart and the heartbeat also discontinues
If we lose heart, love also fizzlesout,
Sometimes it is the destiny of our lives......

Dulakshi Wakista,
Wattala.
