‘The unimaginable beauty’

Ifham Raji and Kamil Naleem, has captured the unimaginable beauty of wildlife in Sri Lanka, featuring scenes such as the serene sambhurs at the Horton Plains silhouetted against the red glow of the sunset, the large buffalo submerged in green weed during his bath in a lake, the brown pelican gliding towards the water to catch his dinner and many more.

Having been involved in wildlife photography most of their lives; they both have been successful in capturing impressive images, with great clarity and professionalism and present them together in a calendar Sri Lanka Wild Life 2009.

According to both Ifham and Kamil the message that is being conveyed by this piece of work is that Sri Lanka wild life must be appreciated and protected at all times, from the smallest bird to a large buffalo or elephant.

Through the pages of the calendar both photographers have portrayed that each animal is of significance and a gift from nature, and therefore should be treasured throughout.
