KPMG leads in THE LMD 50 Auditors League
KPMG Ford, Rhodes, Thornton & Co. has again been ranked as first in
the Auditors league in Sri Lanka by the Lanka Monthly Digest in the
December 2008 issue of THE LMD 50. This year's ranking of first position
in the Auditors league is for the third consecutive year with similar
ratings being received the previous two years. KPMG's market share also
moved up further as the firm now Audits 30 of THE LMD 50 companies
representing a 60% auditor market share from THE LMD 50.
The firm's clients also recorded successes at the recently concluded
Chartered Accountants Annual Reports Awards where the firm's clients
walked away with the joint overall winner award, five category awards
and a further eight sector category awards.
Hemas Hospital opened in Wattala
The state-of-the-art, multi-specialty, 100-bed Hemas Hospital was

Silva, Minister of Healthcare and Nutrition and incumbent Chairman of
