Do you like Jennifer Lopez, have you ever admired her beauty, popularity and national love? I was always surprised at her power. Do you know how she does it?

Being a child, Lopez participated in performances at children's musical theatre. At 16 years she acted in her first film "My Little Girl". Her break on TV begins, when she wins in a dancing competition and receives a role in a comedy serial "In Living Colour". Her further works on TV are roles in serials "Second Chances" and "Hotel Malibu" (in a caption of these films she is designated as Melinda Lopez).

At early age she leaves study - she is attracted by stage fires and she is dreaming to dance. At the age of 18 years Jennifer also leaves parental house, going towards to her dream. Jen acts performs in video clips, receiving thus 50 dollars, and goes on tests every day, where she constantly hears refusals because of her "exotic" Puerto Riko origin.

Jennifer Lopez almost lost any hope of success already, but in 1989 she is invited as a dancer in a round "Broadway Gold Musicals", and almost a year later she already goes on tour across Japan together with a musical "Synchronism".

In two years she is invited in a comedy teleshow "Live colours". For several years Jennifer dances in show and performs in serials and not so known films, most successful of which at that moment was "Mi Familia" ("My family").

And in 1997 she gets on "Selena" casting... Jennifer Lopez leaves 20 thousand pretenders behind and is confirmed on a leading role in a screen version of biography of Mexican singer Selena Quintanilla Perez, killed in 1995. She receives one million dollars for this role and, thus, becomes the first Latin American actress, who received so high fee. For this role Jen is even nominated for "Golden Globe" award, and soon "a newly made millionaire" marries Ojani Noa, a waiter doing his first steps in modelling business.

They get divorced 18 months after wedding.

In 1998 Jennifer decides to practise music and with support of such known producers as Emilio Estefan, Rodney Jerkins and Puff Daddy, who becomes her boyfriend later, begins record of the debut album "On The 6". The disk received such name because of train number, which Jennifer left her house on, towards to her destiny 10 years ago. Next year the album is published and becomes one of the hottest releases of summer.

The first single "If You Had My Love", produced by Jerkins, headed American charts within five weeks. The second single "Waiting For Tonight" became a hit on either side of ocean.

The second album "J.Lo", let out in 2001, gets on the first places in charts on either side of Atlantic. Its exit was preceded by a single release "Love Don't Cost A Thing", which became one of the best in whole album. A singer and actress let out a new album "This Is Me ... Then" in autumn of 2002.

Thanks to the fact that in a clip on a song "Jenny From the Block" one could notice Ben Affleck, and in the album "This Is Me ... Then" there was a pathetic love ballad under a plain name "Ben", it became clear that hearings going lately, are completely justified - Jen has affair with Affleck.

Whole 2003 this couple spent under steadfast attention of almost all world press. Where they were seen together, what he presented her, where and how they kissed - this information did not descend from pages of magazines and newspapers. Ben and Jen even decided to play together in a romantic comedy "Gigli". They declared about engagement, a couple decided to get married a month later after a premiere of the film.

The film, however, failed in hire with a deafening crash and was totally scarified. Wedding was postponed, then once again, and then cancelled at all. in Meanwhile, Ben and Jen already started acting in a new film of Affleck's old friend Kevin Smith "Jersey Girl" - and Smith, having had a look at the orgy which cleared up in a press concerning wedding and its cancellation, made a decision to cut out the most part of material with Lopez and alter a film with other history. As a result, Jen quickly died, leaving Affleck a widower with a growing up daughter in hands. However, this still could not rescue a film.

In January 2004 it was declared - there is a definitive break-up between Lopez and Affleck. Jen preferred disappearing for some time. Next year she acted in a film "Let's dance" in a role of a dancing-master, and on the sly, almost imperceptibly, if to compare to her previous novel, married again, this time a star of Latin American pop scene, Mark Anthony. To the beginning of 2005 Jen has decided that time had come to remind of herself, and let out a new album with a speaking name "Rebirth". One of songs on this album, an orchestral ballad "(Can't Believe) This Is Me", was written for Jen by her husband.

Upon termination of school Jennifer was hired as an assistant in a legal office, where she worked during a day; at night she performed in night clubs, and then a seller-consultant in a perfumery shop.

Jennifer Lopez is a proprietress of "Madre" restaurant in California, offering visitors dishes of Cuban cuisine.

In youth, because of specific figure - large hips at narrow waist - Jennifer had a nickname "La Guitarra" (guitar), and because of explosive character - "Fuego" (fire).

Jennifer's parents are usual people. Mum is a teacher in a kindergarten, and father repaired computers.

During a novel with Puff Daddy Jennifer got to prison. The richest rapper in the world arranged firing in a night club, three persons were wounded as a result, fortunately nobody died. Police detained a car, in which they disappeared from a scene of crime. Right after interrogation Jennifer was released, and Puff has appeared in court. Jennifer did not come to a process, though his destiny depended on her statement.

Soon after parting with Ben Affleck, Lopez started dating Mark Anthony.

The couple got married in June, 5th, 2004, a week after Anthony divorced his first wife, Dajanaroj Torres.
