Kandy Sevens take both titles at Bogambara

FOOTBALL: Kandy Sevens won both Junior and Senior Championships at the Seven-a-Side Football Tournaments organised by the Kandy York Sports Club played at the Bogambara Junior Grounds on December 27 and 28. There were 28 teams in the tournament, 14 each in the junior and senior tourneys.

The chief guest was Sarath Ekanayake - the former Chief Minister of Central Province and the guest of honour was L.B. Aluwihare - the Mayor of Kandy.
