IIT, Inova commence project management course

The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), and the Inova
Strategies, a project management and Business administration consultancy
organisation entered into a strategic partnership to commence a diploma
course in project Management, on Jan.31.
IIT, a leading education provider celebrating 25 years in education
in the country entered into the collaborative venture to help students
to propel their professional competency in project management.
Chairman, IIT, Dr. Gamini Wickramasinghe said the training program is
designed to take the participants through the complete process of
project management from the beginning to the end of a project. "This
unique qualification provides participants the opportunity to accelerate
their project management career and related disciplines", Dr.
Wickramasinghe said.
The program will cover vital factors in making projects successful
and building a successful project organisation to facilitate better
project management.
The program will focus on managing time, budgets and project
constraints, making sound decisions, team work and risk management.
Inova Strategies founded in 2002 in Melbourne, Australia is a global
project management consultancy company. Dr. Madhu Fernando, CEO of Inova
Strategies who facilitates the training program is a renowned project
management expert and trainer. Consultant, Program Director, Ravi
Dharmawardane said the synergies of both organisations will help
students to enhance their skills in project management.
