Postal voting for Forces personnel

Since a large number personnel from the Security Forces are being called to Colombo for duties connected with the Independence Day celebrations on February 4, January 28th and 29th should be set apart for marking of postal ballot papers by postal voters in the three Armed Forces, Police and Civil Defence Forces, Commissioner of Elections Dayananda Dissanayake has stated in a media release.
