23rd Asia Area convention and youth convention in Colombo

Sri Lanka to host 23rd Asia Area Convention of Ys Men International. Another reputed event of International class scheduled this year is the 23rd Asia Area Convention of Ys Men International, said GM of Sri Lanka Convention Bureau Vipula Wanigasekera. The event is scheduled from July 31 to August 2, 2009 in Colombo. Registration will be online and can be accessed from www.srilankaysmen.org. And SriLankan Airlines will bring the delegates as the official carrier for the event.

A parallel Youth Convocation will be held in Mt. Lavinia and an International Council Meeting in Wadduwa.

The grand item in the agenda is the Installation of Area President Dr. Chon Byung-koo for year 2009/2010 International President Kevin Cummins at the Convention. Two special features will be the opportunity given to all delegates to conduct devotions in their own language at various times during the event and the conducting of the Sunday morning service at the Church nextdoor to the venue.
