The Wildscreen Festival in Sri Lanka

Hosted by the British Council in Sri Lanka, this educational feature will take place on the 12th till the 13th of February from 10am onwards.

DJ Shiyam’s event

Valentine’s Weekend Launch Party - 14th February 2009. Two International DJs with four of Sri Lanka’s best will totally bring the town down with a new experience.

DJ Kabbi from Qatar and DJ Oil Daniels from London will paint Cosmopolitan Colombo red with their House music that is sure to start a tornado. The dress code is black, pink or white and it will be pumping at the H20.

Dj Oli Daniels

It is not long ago that Oli Daniels was making his name in D-town, by hosting the ever popular night at The Pearl Lounge (Marriott Hotel), for ‘London Calling’. He held DJ residencies in the UK at Turnmills, Club Thirteen, UK Wide to name a few.

Oli Daniels has played DJ sets at well-known club nights like ‘Dirty Stereo’, ‘Smartie Partie’ events, ‘London Calling’, ‘Bongos & Babes’, ‘Black & White’ club and ‘Back to Front’. This year, he’ll whip up some of his massive house beats all across the globe.

Dj Kabbi

An Up and coming DJ sensation in Qatar, he specializes in Hip-Hop music but will play any music that is suited to the crowd. DJ Kabbi has played along side Nina Sky, Cut Killer, and other hot acts. Kabbi is currently holding many residencies in Qatar and he is set to take 2009 by storm.

DJ Yalex

“Chill Pill” hosted by DJ Yales is set to roar on the 12th of February at Sugar. Featuring DJ Daniel V who will rip stuff like freeform and rare groove, Missy Flame with her electronic house and progressive beats, DJ Rumba T who will reveal mainstream club house, DJ Effy Ells playing soulful R&B and soul, R.K.U. with Retro stuff and DJ Yalex with ‘Electrohouse’.
