Inter-Public Servants Creative Competition

The Inter-Public Servants Creative Competition will be held under the aegis of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage in Sinhala and Tamil mediums with the objective of promoting talents of the members of the public service in six different fields, a Government Information Department press release said. Entries for the competition are invited for short stories, children's stories and rhymes, essays, short drama and art. One person could send in one entry to the competition, the release said.

Winners and those placed in the second and third places will be awarded certificates and cash prizes. Those wishing to take part in the competition could send in their creative writing or art addressed to the Inter-Public Servants Creative Competition, Ministry of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage, 8th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla before April 30, 2009.
