CMC vocational training courses

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) is conducting vocational training courses for youth of under privileged families in the Colombo City limits.

Youth over 18 years could make their applications for certificates courses under the scheme conducted by the Project Division of the Public Assistance Department of CMC. The one-year and six months courses on screen printing, painting, beauty culture, cookery, computer programming, A/C repairing, Electrical, welding and preschool teaching will be held at fifteen training centres of the CMC.

These courses are meant for youth who are unable to pursue higher education and will be conducted free.

The applications should be sent to the Public Assistance Department of CMC.
