Pahan de Silva under 8 champion swimmer

SWIMMING: D. S. Senanayake College’s D. Pahan de Silva became the under 8 champion swimmer at the Sesca Swimming Championships - the All-Island Age Group Junior Super Meet held at the Dharmasoka College Swimming Pool. He was the champion swimmer in the under 8 age group.

Pahan de Silva participated in five events and won all in the under 8 age group swimming a distance of 25 metres in the four events and 4x25 metres I.M. His wins came in 25 metres free style (17.38 seconds), 25 metres Breast Stroke (23.19 seconds), 25 metres Butterfly Stroke (22.04 seconds), 25 metres Back Stroke (22.76 seconds) and 4x25 metres Individual Medley (1 min 45.5 seconds).
