Education: Sri Lanka-Singapore partnership

Representatives of the Global Education Link Pte Ltd (GEL), a Singaporean based destination management company was in Sri Lanka to launch an educational partnership program between Sri Lankan and Singaporean schools, last week.

Global Educational Link (Pte) Ltd,'s General Manager, Aravindan Regunathan said the company deals in matters connected with education and corporate tours of countries such as India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and China. He said GEL was a fast growing travel agency in Singapore. "We are an approved travel agency by the Singaporean Tourism Board and the Ministry of Education as inbound tour operators. We have handled more than 25,000 students during the past three years. From Indonesia alone we have brought nearly 4000 students to Singapore."
